A joint project with the Israeli Authority for Urban Renewal, for the promotion of urban renewal in Arab communities in the Galilee and the Triangle area.
2023-2024: examination of the feasibility for urban renewal processes in ten Arab communities.
2024-2025: overseeing the detailed planning and implementation of urban renewal in a number of communities simultaneously. We support communities in the process for detailed planning of projects for urban renewal.
December 2024: El-Bayader signed an additional two-year contract with the Israeli Authority for Urban Renewal, such that in 2025-2026 we will support Arab communities in the implementation of urban renewal plans.
A joint project with the Authority for the Economic Development of the Arab Sector, addressing strategic issues of planning and housing. The aim of this project is to remove barriers, and train and guide professionals in local authorities in planning and managing complex, large-scale building and development projects. As part of the project, up to 20,000 housing units are expected to be built, alongside development of essential physical infrastructures and public institutions in 10-14 Arab communities.
The project includes:
Promotion of strategic agreements for housing in Arab cities.
Removal of barriers and promotion of developmental work on private land.
Training and skill-building for professionals and communities in different areas.
